Humans no matter the gender must be hired based on their qualifications. Forcing a balance in ‘numbers’ does not ‘normalise’. We require ‘normalisation’ not ‘empowerment’.

Women should not be hired simply because they are women, but they should not be denied the opportunity to work on the board of directors because they are women. Whoever has the skills necessary should be considered, regardless of their gender or race.
