Until we get there, I support a UBI as the most equitable manner of redistributing income, at the least cost, while creating the least amount of discontent.

If the government were to pull out of the economy wages would rise across the board, due to market competition, and the lowest paid workers would be able to cover all their own expenses without relying on redistribution schemes, which have been universally unsuccessful at taking care of our most vulnerable populations.

  Jawapan peribadiThe government exists to protect our borders, not fight foreign wars. When we limit our military to that task, we will be able to reduce their budget. It should always be high enough so that our military can effectively protect us from foreign actors who wish to do us harm.

  Jawapan peribadiIn a just country, where the government is not persecuting its own citizens, no military grade equipment will be necessary for law enforcement to do its job, which is to serve and protect.

  Jawapan peribadiWhen a person is in prison s/he is under the direct control of the government. When s/he is not, s/he should be allowed to vote for or against that government.

  Jawapan peribadiAmerica is a country of law and order. If laws are unjust they should be eliminated. If law enforcement officials are unjust they should be removed. Police must be provided with the all the tools necessary to do their jobs - to serve and protect.
